doctor could message the medicine management

It would have been helpful if the doctor could message the medicine management about unresolved issue about medication instead of asking me to put a new request next day.

Very efficient service today from Gp

As I am unwell it helped tremendous that I could communicate via ‘Ask my Gp’. Very quick response and my situation dealt with mediately following a telephone consultation.

this is starting to get ridiculously irritating

why the hell do my requests get marked as complete when they have been completely ignored. The GP is the worst thing ever I have no idea how it’s still running and why nobody is trying to fix it after years and years of complaints. People who are sick cannot even get in contact with a GP, let alone get any medication. Disgusting. I’ve stood at the entrance while calling and watched the receptionists ignore the ringing phones while they have a chat. They then jae the nerve to tell me you can’t make an appointment face to face and that you have to call. Well what’s the point of calling if they’re going to ignore it. Are these idiots not interviewed for their jobs?

Very satisfied with the overall service

I receive from Doctors and staff. I have never got the impression that I am a bother. Hopefully I will get better soon and not take up anymore time with the Doctors who are very busy

Unbelievable!!

I have earache and could not hear when my phone ranged. I called back immediately I saw the missed call and was told that I could not be seen because I missed the call twice. I didn’t sleep last night because I had pain in my ear and how lost hearing in that ear. What is the point of having to choose if you wanted a phone call or face to face. I said I had ear problems and you wanted to give me a phone call? Unbelievable! You are asking me to ring 111. What are they going to do? Send me to A&E where instead of staff saving lives, they will be busy attending to my ear ache. Disgraceful!!

Let down again and very upset

Left it too late to contact me re the swelling of my throat and black tongue from my messages and photos I sent this morning, however not really shocked. Get a call at 6pm and if I now want to be seen to get there before 630 through all the traffic, impossible! No pharmacies on route to London for prescription to be sent as again too late. Now still left with a black tongue, swollen throat and pain when I swallow a little. Even previous week whereby I was promised a call back from manager regarding another mistake the surgery made after speaking to another Dr, that call never came either! Let down again and very upset, no option but to take this personal as it consistently keeps happening. Thank you for leaving me this way!

system allows my queries to be addressed quickly

I find that the system allows my queries to be addressed quickly and my needs to be met . The only drawback is that access can be time restricted at times which is counter productive .. particularly as a system like this is designed to improve the channels of communication not limit them.. A suggestion could be that a system could be introduced which filters and channels incoming queries to the next day in a ‘Work calendar’ . this would be ok as long as the writer knows their query will not be dealt with until that specific time/day at the point of putting in their request
