UA92 students get top grades for looking after their health and well-being

A big welcome to our new UA92 students, who have ensured they can still receive emergency care if needed, and access health services quickly and efficiently while studying away from home.

It’s essential to look after your health when moving away from home for the first time, including registering with a new GP and finding your local sexual health service.

This year UA92 students get ahead of the pack by registering with Limelight Health and Well-being Hub, a GP practice local to their new student accommodation, ensuring that they can access health services quickly and efficiently while studying away from home.

UA92 a game-changing education experience

University Academy 92 (UA92) is a game-changing higher education experience formed from a collaboration between academic leaders, Lancaster University, alongside Manchester United legends turned entrepreneurs and sporting managers, the Class of 92.

The distinctive higher education offering is supported by a solid group of employer partners, including Microsoft, KPMG and Lancashire Cricket.

UA92 welcome fair was a great success

UA92 welcomed their latest cohort of students to their Manchester campus on the 16th of September 2021, and Limelight Health and Well-being Hub were there to help students get set up with a GP in their new home away from home.

The university enrolled 140 students with 40 boarding in the student accommodation. In total, 22 students completed our online registration process and registered as a patient at Limelight. Overall it was a perfect day.
