Covid vaccines are now available for ages 18 and over
Lanky the Giraffe, Lancashire Cricket Club’s official club mascot, has taken time out from training at Emirates Old Trafford to take advantage of new guidance that now anyone aged 18 or over can receive a Covid-19 vaccine.
Our staff were on hand and ready to take care of this famous lofty legend who received his first jab in record time. Now Lanky can safely return to the cricket ground, knowing that his chance of catching the virus and passing it on has been significantly lowered.
Lanky taking the Covid jab in his stride
Taking it all in his stride Lanky was off to a flying start and never looked back.
Howzat! Lanky the Giraffe – Lancashire Cricket Club’s official club mascot – has become the latest Trafford resident to get his Covid jab.
Lanky will return to us for his second vaccine in eight weeks, so he has maximum protection against Covid.
